When I first discovered radio, I was obsessed. Okay, I admit it, I was desperate. There was nothing I wanted more than to be the guy introducing the songs, entertaining the listeners and creating unmissable on-air features. 

 

After four years developing myself in relative obscurity (on amateur stations no one had heard of), I got my first break in 2007 — presenting at a proper commercial radio station. Unfortunately, this was pre-social media, so there was no need for me to film any of my shows. (One of my biggest regrets is having no footage of me living my biggest dream. Maybe that's why, from 2015 onwards, I started filming the most unnecessary daily minutia).

As I found my presenter groove, I became the face of massive music festivals and exhilarating live entertainment events; some of which feature in the above showreel — the last showreel I made before projects like 100 Musicians, 61 HUGS, Waiting With a Killer & The Bench won my heart and took me in the entirely unexpected direction of producing social experiments & micro documentaries that explore relationships amongst strangers.
