How long could you survive in London with just £100? One day? Two? In 2015, I managed six life-changing months. ​Leaving my Sheffield home with just a bag of clothes, my camera and £100, my challenge was to provide 100 independent music artists with a professional photoshoot to assist their Marketing activities. The hook? Each artist paid me whatever they wanted for the shoot, and with their voluntary contributions, I paid for my accommodation, food, drink and transport. Sleeping in hostels, buying cheap supermarket food and walking everywhere was my only hope of success, because if I ran out of money before shooting 100 musicians, challenge over. Challenge failed.
